In an emergency – April 2026

The medical professionals at the UTC are exceptional. I was treated with genuine care and attention. (Folkestone)

Urgent Care Team (west Kent) – April 2026

It truly was exceptional care and dignity which the whole team showed my mum when they attended - be that washing her or making her more comfortable. We were nervous about the level of care that might be provided, but it was excellent. (Rapid Response service)

Tuberculosis (TB) Nursing Service – April 2026

The nurse explained things well. The vaccine was done quickly, with clear instructions given to us to make it run smoothly. We were told in advance why our baby was recommended to have the vaccine.

Podiatric surgery – April 2026

Everyone was very kind, reassuring and helpful. The care was top quality.

Tonbridge Community Hospital – April 2026

Respiratory Service (east Kent) – April 2026

My respiratory nurse explained things in an easy to understand way. They also listened to me.

Immunisation Service – April 2026

The staff were all very attentive and friendly. A good experience for my son.

Physiotherapy (musculoskeletal) – April 2026

Physiotherapist was knowledgeable and explained things easily to understand. Showed a real interest and made me and my daughter feel important and listened to.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service – April 2026

Lots of information and support given in the group session. Each person was given one to one support, and it was tailored to ability and health. Very friendly care given to each person.

Sexual health – April 2026

The nurse and doctor that saw me for my appointment were very understanding, kind, caring, easy to talk to and professional. The clinic was impeccably clean and the receptionist was welcoming.

Podiatry – April 2026

Very professional but personable clinician who explained everything to me. Kind and understanding. Excellent experience, thank you.

Specialist Children’s Bladder and Bowel Nursing Team – April 2026

The nurse is calm, patient, caring and very professional. Their approach to my child is always one of consideration and empathy.

Lymphoedema Service – April 2026

It is so comforting seeing a specialist about my legs. The clinician was so caring and informative.

Hawkhurst Community Hospital – April 2026

The staff were very friendly and helped me to get moving.

Dietetics and Nutrition Services – April 2026

The appointment was exactly on time, in a friendly, informative manner. It explained all the alternatives and supplements to my diet. It covered the different options which would benefit my health, and it was much appreciated. (Community Dietetics)

Continence Service – April 2026

Clinician always puts me at ease when discussing such a sensitive subject. They are very knowledgeable, experienced and professional, whilst having such empathy and understanding.

Health Visiting Service – April 2026

The health visitor is lovely, very reassuring, explains everything in such simple terms and easy to follow and very positive. Prompt and on time.

Community Rehabilitation Team – April 2026

Epilepsy Service – April 2026

The epilepsy nursing service gave me professional care about my disability. I ve had a supportive experience and amazing care.

Health Visiting Service – April 2026

Health visitor was an incredible support. They were a ray of sunshine, on sometimes very gloomy newborn days. They gave sensible advice and always made me feel listened to. Having the same person come every time was brilliant and we built a good relationship. (Family Partnership Programme)

Home First – April 2026

Everyone is polite, caring and amazing. When I came into the service I could hardly walk, but now I can walk with much confidence.

Diabetes Nursing Service – April 2026

It was amazing, brilliant, my blood sugars were down in a week. One of best courses I have ever been on. I learnt so much. The staff member was a brilliant teacher; it was a pleasure to be there - credit where credit is due. (KAT1E course)

Frailty Home Treatment Service (east Kent) – April 2026

The care and support provided by the urgent care service made all the difference to my husband and to me. It was a lifeline. I can t thank the nurse enough for consistently going above and beyond.

Community nursing – April 2026

On each visit the nurse has been very professional and very caring. They carefully explain what is being discussed and why, and always action decisions. They take a very holistic approach. They are extremely knowledgeable and have a very good team behind them. They are also very keen to transmit knowledge to my sons. (Complex Care Nurses)

Adult Neurodevelopmental Service – April 2026

It was very good to feel supported, genuinely supported. I loved being able to hear the different experiences of other neuro diverse people.

Community nursing – April 2026

The nurses have enabled me to support my husband with his catheter issues. They have reduced the number of call outs we needed to do, and we feel more confident and reassured.

Children’s Asthma Team – April 2026

The nurse is always very kind and asks my daughter what s been going on, how she feels and always listens to me when I have concerns. They are giving advice in a way I understand. Always on time and great communication.

Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy – April 2026

The therapist was so warm and kind in their approach. I felt very comfortable in their presence, and it was clear how much knowledge they had to help me. I am feeling so much better in myself and my voice, and I have the therapist to thank for this. I'd highly recommend this service.

Community Chronic Pain Service – April 2026

The practitioner is an expert in their field of physiotherapy. I trust them completely and they have given me some very good exercises and advice to take away with me. They always spend time being very thorough with me and I feel positive about my pain for the future.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Service – April 2026

Excellent, experienced staff, all very positive, friendly and encouraging to all participants. They make all newcomers feel very welcome. The programme itself had a beneficial effect on my health. (Exercise Physiology)
