Who we are

We are a multi-disciplinary team that includes occupational therapists technical instructors, speech and language therapists, community nurses, care managers psychologists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, transitional workers, mobility support workers and administrators who work across Kent with adults who have a learning disability.

What we do

We provide specialist health advice and support to people with learning disabilities, their carers, families and the wider healthcare community. Our team can help with health appointments, day activities and respite care and we offer support ranging from helping understand and use language more effectively to teaching people to cook.

Our sensory experts can help people with visual or hearing needs and those who are deafblind to live and work safely. We can help with money, housing and other problems and can arrange support and provide advice on respite and residential care. We can also help people talk through problems and provide information to help school leavers make decisions about further education and work. We can see people in their own home, in the day centre, in the community or at work.
