Who we are
We are made up of a head of service and two Intravenous Therapy (IV) specialist nurses. We are here to help fellow healthcare professionals.
What we do
We support health care professionals employed by Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. We aim to support reduced hospital admissions and early discharge from hospital.
We give advice and provide support to nursing staff and other health care professionals to develop and improve their own practice in IV therapy in the community, to help continually raise the quality and standards of care given.
How do you use this service?
You need to be referred by a GP or healthcare professional to use this service.
