Hand Therapy

Who we are

The occupational therapists based within this team provide specialist assessments, goal orientated treatment, splinting, assessment of daily living activities, advice and education, including return to work for patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological or rheumatological conditions and for those who have had plastic or reconstructive hand surgery. 

What we do

Your occupational therapist will help you to identify any difficulties you may be having with everyday activities and help you with advice on how to manage these more easily. They may also suggest energy conservation techniques and alternative ways to do certain activities and give you the opportunity to practice these. 

How to refer 

All referrals must be completed by a GP or healthcare professional using the Hand Therapy referral form.
