Wrist action range of motion (AROM)

1. AROM wrist flexion/extension
Sets: 1
Repetitions: 1
Sit upright at a table.
Place your weaker arm on the table with your elbow bent and your thumb facing towards the ceiling.
Bend your wrist forwards and backwards, keeping your fingers relaxed throughout the whole movement.

2. AROM wrist radial/ulnar deviation (gravity eliminated)
Sets: 1
Repetitions: 1
Sit upright at a table.
Place your weaker arm on the table with your elbow bent and your palm facing down.
Move your hand from side to side at the wrist. Keep your forearm in contact with the table throughout the exercise.
Try to keep your elbow, shoulder and body still during the exercise.

3. Active wrist supination/pronation
Sets: 1
Repetitions: 1
Sit upright at a table.
Place your weaker arm on the table with your elbow bent.
Turn your wrist so the palm is facing upwards.
Then turn your hand over so that your palm faces the table.
Try to keep your elbow, shoulder and body still during the exercise.
