Community appointment day for Rehabilitation Team

We would like to invite you to attend a community appointment day, where our team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants will work together to provide comprehensive assessment and personalised treatment recommendations in one convenient visit.

There will also be other community services present on the day to provide information which may be of assistance to you.

To be seen on this day please arrange an appointment time, by calling us on 0300 790 0389 or emailing kentchft.ekentadmincrta@nhs.net. We will not be able to accommodate any patients arriving without an appointment time on the day.

On the day

Please do not attend on the day if you are feeling unwell or have any signs of infection.

Each appointment will begin with a conversation to understand how your problem affects you and what matters to you. We will then discuss your next available steps.

You will have access to Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Assistants depending on your individual needs. There will be equipment available on the day for you to trial if required. There will also be other organisations/ services in attendance who can offer support depending on your needs.

You may be accompanied by one other person.

Please bring in your completed pre-assessment form.

Frequently asked questions

How long will it take?

Most people take 30-90 minutes to see everyone they need. Some people can take longer depending on how many clinicians and services they need to see. At the end of your assessment if further treatment is required a follow up visit will be arranged.

Is my appointment at a specific time?

You will be given an arrival time. Please try not to arrive too early to help us manage numbers. There is no set start or end times for appointments. There may be a short wait to see your first clinician as we give each patient as long as they need. 

How do I book my place?

Please call the admin team on the number provided or using the email on this letter, they will book you in and provide an arrival time. 

How do I get there?

The stadium is easily accessible by road using the address above. There is ample free parking on site.

Is it accessible for people with mobility issues?

There is level access to the building. If you are unable to manage the distance from the car park to the building an alternative access can be made available. There is accessible parking and facilities on site.

Are there refreshments available?

There is a café onsite where food and drink can be purchased if desired.
