Walk details
There are a range of different walk routes exploring local green space, the town and promenade area.
- 7 January – Meet Dead Man’s corner for either the short walk to Tankerton or the longer walk to Long Rock and back
- 14 January – Meet Dead Man’s corner and walk to South Street and back via the Crab & Winkle and Stream walk
- 21 January – Meet Meadow walk near top of Borstal Hill and walk down to Seasalter Church and into Whitstable
- 28 January – Meet Westgate gardens in Canterbury and walk along the river Stour and back
- 4 February – Meet Dead Man’s corner for either the short walk to Tankerton or the longer walk to Long Rock and back
- 11 February – Meet Tollgate by the garage and walk along Joy Lane to Seasalter and back to Whitstable
- 18 February – Meet Herne Bay bandstand and walk to Bishopstone and back
- 25 February – Meet Rugby Club and walk around Chestfield
- 4 March – Meet Dead Man’s corner for either the short walk to Tankerton or the longer walk to Long Rock and back.
These walks might involve negotiating fields, inclines, uneven footpaths and stiles. Please check with the walk leader if you are unsure of the suitability. Please wear appropriate footwear.
