Membership campaign image of people holding a giant megaphone.Caring for someone with dementia can be an isolating experience – but you are not alone.

We are inviting carers, families and individuals living with dementia, to an informative online event that offers guidance, support and connection.

Anyone is welcome to join us from 6 to 7pm on Wednesday, 11 June, on our webinar designed to empower and uplift those affected by dementia in our community.

Attendees will hear from dementia experts at KCHFT as well as specialists from local support services. The session will offer:

  • practical advice for day-to-day care
  • emotional support strategies for carers and loved ones
  • insight into how KCHFT is making community health services more dementia-friendly
  • live Q&A session with healthcare professionals who understand the challenges of dementia care.

“This webinar is about connection and empowering you to receive the level of care you deserve,” said Grahame Hardy, KCHFT Specialist Nurse for Dementia. “We want to make sure that everyone affected by dementia knows what support is available and that they are not facing this journey alone.”

This event is part of a series of webinars aimed at raising awareness of the wide range of support and resources available from KCHFT.

Register now to join us on Wednesday, 11 June from 6 to 7pm.
