Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust (KCHFT) has been shortlisted for Inclusive Recruitment at the Onvero Inclusivity Excellence Awards 2026. Chief People Officer Victoria Robinson-Collins is also shortlisted for Inclusion Leader of the Year.

The recruitment nomination recognises practical support for applicants, workplace adjustments, inclusion ambassadors and supported employment. Together, these are part of supported and able to thrive.

Victoria Robinson-Collins said: “It means a great deal to be shortlisted, alongside recognition for our recruitment work. Both nominations are a chance to thank colleagues who have shared their experiences and helped us make working life better for others.

“We want everyone to feel welcome and know they belong at KCHFT. There is more to do, and listening to colleagues will remain at the heart of that work.”

Hasan Reza, Head of Workforce Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Health and Wellbeing, submitted both award nominations. He said: “Inclusion at KCHFT is about people feeling they can be themselves and knowing their experiences matter. Through Nobody Left Behind, we are listening to colleagues and using what they tell us to remove barriers and improve support. There is more to do, but our aim is simple: everyone should have a fair chance to join us, contribute and thrive.

“We have been led on this journey by our Chief People Officer, which is why we have nominated her for the Inclusion Leader of the year award. Her leadership has helped us to achieve a culture shift that supports all colleagues and helped us achieve our ambition of being a great place to work."

KCHFT is working to give everyone a fair opportunity to join them, including recruiting people from a wide range of backgrounds

Twelve per cent of KCHFT’s workforce have declared a disability this year, compared with a national average of 9.5 per cent. Almost 85 per cent of disabled colleagues received reasonable workplace adjustments to help support their needs at work.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on Thursday, 26 November
