Pregnancy

Everyone is different; you and your partner might be happy, excited or shocked and confused about your pregnancy. Keep talking about your feelings and any worries or concerns you have and access support to help you on your pregnancy journey.

Bump, Birth and Beyond is packed with friendly and helpful advice for parents-to-be in Kent and Medway on pregnancy, birth and the first days of parenting.

The Kent Health Visiting Service will be in touch later on in your pregnancy to offer support and guidance. We see parents after 28 weeks of pregnancy either virtually or at your home. This appointment is an opportunity to discuss any questions you have and go through some useful information for you and your baby's health and wellbeing including; feeding your baby, encouraging baby's development and general parenting as well as introducing you to your local Health Visiting Team. You can find out more about that appointment in the video below.

You can also find out more about developing a close relationship with your baby and understanding responsive feeding however you choose to feed your baby with our free ready for baby course.

One of our Health Visitors, Ali Saunders, has some general advice about pregnancy and bonding with your baby in this video.

We wish you lots of luck for the rest of your pregnancy. You can find more information below.
