Speech sounds training
A one-day training course delivered by Children’s Speech and Language Therapy which will enable you to support children in your setting (Early Years and Schools) with speech sound difficulties.
Please note – if you are supporting a child who is currently being supported by Children’s Speech and Language Therapy for their speech sound difficulties, then you may be entitled to a free place. Please contact us on Kentchft.CTwestkenttraining@nhs.net with details of the child(ren) you are supporting if you think this applies to you. If you would like a free place, please do not book via the online shop.
Please ensure all participants bring the Child Profile document with them (see ‘What’s included’).
Participants will be provided with course handouts and a certificate. In the afternoon, participants will work in groups to discuss and plan appropriate interventions for the children that they work with and the Speech and Language Therapist will provide advice as part of these discussions. Participants are advised to complete page one of the ‘Child Profile’ before the training to make these discussions as useful as possible.
