Here are some resources to help you keep well and fit after physiotherapy.
Your physiotherapist may have also recommended long-term exercises.
Keeping fit
Health walks
These walks are run by trained volunteers and provide one or two hours of walking for any age and ability. Based in east Kent.

Park Run
This national scheme is operated at parks across the UK – the 5k run or jog is suitable for all abilities and ages.
Couch to 5k
This nine-week plan aims to help beginners run up to 5k.

Exercise referral
A personalised activity programme delivered at a discounted price by local leisure providers. Referral must come from GP or other healthcare professional.
Keeping motivated
Active 10
This tracks the amount of walking you’re doing each day and helps you to set goals.

Feeling supported
One You lifestyle advisors can offer free support with a range of healthy living topics such as:
- drinking less alcohol
- exercising more
- stopping smoking
- improving diet
- mental health and wellbeing.
Expert Patients Programme
This free course is run by volunteers to help people with long-term conditions regain their confidence and manage everyday situations.
