Chair John Goulston thanked our teams for delivering outstanding care through another difficult year. Using innovation, technology and partnership working to create opportunities and improved ways of working, our teams saw more than two million people, face-to-face and by virtually. Lead Governor Carol Coleman talked about how our governors have been involved, including the vaccination programme and recruiting our new chief executive.

Our new Chief Executive Mairead McCormick shared with the meeting how proud she is to have joined KCHFT in July 2022. Since joining, Mairead has visited a number of services and has received a hearty welcome from patients, colleagues, volunteers, governors and members. During the meeting, Mairead shared some of the exciting projects we can look forward to seeing throughout the next year.
