Who we are

You must be able to travel to the location of the falls group, walk 50 yards and stand independently for two minutes with or without aids, cognitively able to follow instruction and have the consent of your GP or be medically fit to attend the group.

What we do

We assess you and then we create a set of goals to monitor your strength, balance and fear of falling. Anyone who is referred needs to take part in a pre-arranged 12-week course, which includes exercise and education in falls-related topics. These courses are held in a community setting.

In the Gravesham area we only provide one-to-one assessments and treatment within patients’ own home.
