Who we are

We are specialist dietitians and dietetic assistants who support both inpatients and outpatients receiving specialist care in areas including oncology, intensive therapy, stroke, gastroenterology, paediatrics and neuro-rehabilitation.

We translate scientific information about nutrition and food into dietary advice and are experts in assessing individual nutritional requirements and providing dietary advice on health and disease. We are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

What we do

We look carefully at the needs of each patient and use that information and our own expertise to advise on the right diet to help in the treatment of each patient. Each patient will receive his or her own care plan and if necessary will receive follow on care from a community dietitian after being discharge from hospital.

The team also works with catering staff to provide nutritional meals and snacks for all patients.

You need to be referred by a GP or healthcare professional.
