COVID-19 vaccination

Covid-19 vaccine information for patients

Covid-19 vaccinations will be available from a range of NHS services over the coming months. There will be a range of places providing vaccination, including our acute hospitals, GP services, pharmacies and large vaccination centres.

Help protect Kent and Medway by getting vaccinated.

In all cases appointments are by invitation; there are no walk-in COVID-19 vaccination services.

You will be contacted when you can have the vaccine. Please be patient and wait to be contacted.

People are being invited for vaccination based on a nationally set priority list. The elderly and most at risk from Covid-19 will be vaccinated first. Read more about the prioritisation.

You can read more about the vaccine and how it is being provided in Kent and Medway.

Joining the COVID-19 Team

Rolling out the vaccine as quickly as possible will mean recruiting many more staff and volunteers. By bolstering our workforce, the NHS will be able to offer potentially life-saving protection from Coronavirus in a range of locations, focusing on the most at-risk groups first.

We’ve been working hard to recruit an army of people who will be able to support the vaccination programme when it starts. So far, we've had an excellent response. But we are still looking in particular for band 5 registered healthcare professionals and band 6 clinical supervisors in particular.
