Hospital visiting during lockdown

Family members, friends and loved ones who are part of a patient’s household or support bubble are allowed to visit them in hospital.

Visiting for people not in a patient’s household or bubble will also be allowed on compassionate grounds. This includes end of life, people with learning disabilities or to support their mental health.

For others we will be offering ‘virtual visits’ so they can still keep in touch with friends or family.

The situation will be monitored and if necessary revised. However visiting for patients at end of life will continue.
